Playing Golf

When you first start you'll likely spend a fair bit of time on the practice ground, building up your skills and confidence. You will though soon want to practice out on the course. If you've not joined us you'll need to pay a green fee before you play (see our visitors pages for more info or have a look at our membership options including Academy and Associate schemes).

If you're not confident you might want to find a quiet time to play. We don't allow practicing on the course though. Speak to our Professional to find out the quietest times (normally the afternoons).

If you play a lot on the course paying green fees each visit can become expensive. If you play more than 10 times in a year you should consider joining. We've just launched an Associate membership scheme which is ideal for new golfers and the casual player. You pay an initial fee of £350 (payment options available) and you can play our course for a set number of rounds (check out our membership pages for more details). We also have some great value membership categories

If you think you'll play more than 25 times then a full membership might be a better option. The advantage of Associate membership is the low initial cost which does not over commit you.
